A proud graduate of Duke University and Columbia University School of Law, Jennifer has built a diverse career. Before entering real estate, she practiced International Corporate Law in New York City and New Jersey, owned a small business, and ran a family mediation practice in Boston. Her dedication to public service is evident from her time as an elected public official in Dover Town government. However, her true passion for real estate was ignited when she and a friend discussed development opportunities while building her dream home on Martha’s Vineyard.
Jennifer’s journey into real estate began with the successful acquisition and development of two lots in the new Preserve at the Woodlands community in Oak Bluffs. As an active member of the Homeowners Association Board, she played a pivotal role in establishing the subdivision covenants and creating a vibrant community. This experience, coupled with the encouragement of friends seeking her real estate advice, led her to obtain her real estate license in 2017.
“It is a wonderful feeling, like matchmaking, helping my clients find their perfect home in my happy place,” Jennifer shares. Her strong negotiation and analytical skills, paired with her genuine interpersonal approach, have made her one of the top agents on the island, achieving approximately $28 million in sales in 2022.
Beyond her successful real estate career, Jennifer is deeply engaged in the Martha’s Vineyard community. She serves as a board member for both the Martha’s Vineyard Boys and Girls Club and The Cottagers, Incorporated, and actively participates in philanthropic efforts through The Links, Incorporated, and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
Jennifer and her husband have been part of the Edgartown community for over 20 years, building their home and taking on various real estate projects. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, playing tennis, reading, and cherishing moments with family and friends, reflecting her passion for life and commitment to community engagement.
