An energetic, results-oriented, self-motivated realtor on Florida’s Emerald Coast, Denise works as a Global Real Estate Advisor at Scenic Sotheby’s International Realty. Her specialty extends to Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort, a place she and her family fell in love with years ago and now reside.
With extensive knowledge of the Destin, Santa Rosa Beach, and 30A real estate markets, Denise specializes in primary, second home, and investment properties.
In her line of work, she enjoys working with people and getting to know them, while listening to their needs and helping them find the home of their dreams. She promises each client that they will enjoy their time together searching for a full-time residence, second home or investment property along the Emerald Coast.
After growing up in Wisconsin, Denise turned to the University of Minnesota to pursue her undergraduate education. Her career took her to locations across the country.
Before parlaying her love of homes and real estate into a successful career as a realtor, Denise spent more than 25 years in the financial service industry. At the age of 50, she began looking for a career that fit her family’s life at the beach instead of big cities and traveling for work.
After vacationing in northwest Florida for years, she and her husband, Kevin, and two children relocated to the area from Boston in 2006. Six years later, in 2012, Denise earned her real estate license.
Holding the Resort and Second-Home Property Specialist certification, she specializes in buying, selling or management of properties for investment, development, retirement or second homes in resort, recreational, and/or vacation destinations.
When selling a property, Denise works to bring in the personal story of a home, many former clients have even become her close friends.
Helping build communities through arts and education, she has served on the Seaside Neighborhood School Board and the Northwest Florida Ballet Board. She has also contributed time to Impact 100, Destin Woman’s Club, Dog Harmony, Butler Elementary, Northwest Florida Ballet Academie, Food For Thought, and various ministries with Christ the King Episcopal Church.
Now an “empty-nester,” Denise enjoys time off with family, hanging out at the beach and partaking in the area’s outdoor activities. She is SCUBA certified and likes to read, travel, play Mah Jongg, as well as attend cooking and yoga classes. She and her family have a dog, Teddy, who they adopted from Alaqua Animal Refuge in 2011.
