Although Carla’s Ohio license was issued in 2003 and she joined RE/MAX in 2004, her illustrious real estate journey traces its origins back to the 1980s in Oklahoma. Throughout the 1990s, she excelled as a RE/MAX broker associate before returning to her roots in Ohio.
Her experience in the real estate industry encompasses various roles, including handling title closings, settlement statements, and escrow responsibilities at a prominent Title Agency in Defiance, Ohio. Dealing with over 100 lenders and mortgage companies, Carla interacted daily with those involved in property transactions, showcasing her exceptional negotiation skills. With a closing rate of 99% over five years, she rarely encountered deal-breaking complications.
Additionally, Carla served as a Loan Officer covering seven counties in western Ohio, where she developed expertise in a wide range of loan programs, including FHA, VA, Rural Development, and Conventional Loans. After a life change brought her back to Lorain County, a decision was made to obtain the Ohio Real Estate License, returning to RE/MAX, as a full time real estate agent.
