Shana Johnson, a cherished wife, mother, and daughter, peacefully passed away on April 3, 2023, at the age of 43. Born in Anaheim, California, Shana was the beloved daughter of Jeffrey and Donna Durfee. She married Travis Johnson on July 7, 2008, embarking on a remarkable journey as a Marine Military family.
Together, Shana and Travis were blessed with three beautiful children: two daughters named Breanna and Joylynn, and a son named Tyler. Shana was a devoted mother who took great joy in supporting her children’s interests, whether it be in sports, drama, music, cheer, or other hobbies. As a military wife, she found fulfillment in standing by her husband’s side, navigating the challenges and adventures that came their way.
Shana’s passion for her career led her to fulfill her lifelong dream of becoming a realtor. Working at Collins Real Estate Group in Fort Worth, Texas, she specialized in residential real estate. With a diverse background that included studies in law, experience in photography and interior design, and a previous role as VP of Operations for a corporation, Shana possessed the skills and knowledge to excel in her profession. Guiding buyers in finding their dream homes and assisting clients throughout their real estate journey brought her great joy.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Shana had a heart for teaching and dedicated her time as a Sunday School Teacher at Lakeside Baptist Church. She actively participated in the Greater Fort Worth Realtor Association and the Granbury Chamber of Commerce – Women in Business, using her energy and expertise to make a positive impact in her community.
Shana’s unwavering determination, tenacious spirit, and ability to persevere through adversity were admired by all who knew her. She will be forever remembered for her vibrant personality and zest for life, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known her.
