A Vietnam War veteran with more than 22 years of service in the U.S. Army, he brings a profound work ethic and a commitment to excellence to every transaction, making him an invaluable asset to buyers and sellers alike.
After retiring from the Army in 1990, Jerry transitioned to the medical field, where he served as a medical technologist and later became the Night Operations Manager at Lab Corp of America. In this capacity, he managed a team of 50 technologists and technicians, honing his leadership skills and attention to detail. However, in 2002, Jerry made a significant career change when he entered the real estate industry, where he has since established a solid reputation for his expertise in both residential and commercial real estate, including new construction and pre-owned home sales.
While on active duty in the military, Jerry earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio and his Master’s Degree in Management from Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri. Shortly after completing his Bachelor’s degree, he graduated from Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC) School of Medical Laboratory Technology and became certified by the American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP), a highly sought-after designation in the civilian medical laboratory field.
Jerry holds impressive credentials, including Military Relocation Professional (MRP), Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR), Graduate, Realtor Institute (GRI), and GREEN certification. His specialization in working with military personnel sets him apart, as he understands the unique needs and challenges faced by those relocating to or from the San Antonio area.

Outside of real estate, Jerry enjoys a rich personal life with his wife, Chong Suk, married since 1975. They have a daughter, Kim Newman Donnellan, and a son-in-law, Kevin Donnellan. Jerry enjoys fishing, bowling, and various sports, including his favorite team, the San Antonio Spurs and the Dallas Cowboys.
