She loves being a part of the local communities and helping to build and strengthen the relationships within them. She also enjoys getting to know the residents, local businesses and neighborhoods, and being a trusted resource for real estate information and advice. 

Kara’s educational background includes a degree in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University, which she obtained in 1997. She then spent 10 years working as a Global Commodity Manager in North Carolina for IBM, Flextronics, and GlaxoSmithKline.

During this time, she developed great negotiation skills working globally to procure and write contracts for these Fortune 500 companies. Kara started her real estate career when she moved back to Indiana to be with her family, earning CDP designation and licenses to practice real estate in Indiana, Kentucky, and North Carolina.

Her goals for Key Associates Signature Realty are to grow a brokerage that operates as a team across all of Southern Indiana. She believes in supporting new and existing agents with tools, support, and training with what she needed when starting her real estate career. 

A combination of hard work, honesty, strong relationships, efficient systems, and exceptional client care are the foundation of Kara’s success as a real estate agent. She puts in long hours, stays up-to-date with industry trends and changes, and continuously educates herself to better serve her clients. She also always strives to be truthful and transparent with her clients, building trust and earning their respect. This has helped her to build a network of trusted relationships with clients, colleagues, and partners in the industry, as well as repeat business and referrals. 

In order to streamline her work processes and maximize her time, Kara uses efficient systems, including technology and tools, to manage her listings, communicate with clients, and track her progress. This allows her to focus on what is important and provide exceptional service to her clients. 

Finally, exceptional client care is essential to her success. Kara always goes above and beyond to ensure her clients are happy and satisfied with the services she provides. 

Widely recognized for her achievements in the real estate industry, her published works include an e-book entitled “Top Real Estate Tips to Dominate Your Real Estate Business”. She has also been the recipient of several awards from the Southern Indiana Realtor Board and the Evansville Regional.
