Her passion for real estate and community service led her to a successful career in politics, managing campaigns for US Congressmen and Senators before returning full-time to real estate in 2015. Her expansion into the Augusta/Aiken Market marked a new chapter in the company’s growth and commitment to serving a wider clientele.
In early 2020, Nancy assumed the role of owner/broker of Powell & Associates, Inc., relocating the main office from Lincolnton to Downtown Augusta. Her deep roots in the region have allowed her to advocate effectively for both buyers and sellers, embracing a client-centric approach built on integrity and excellence. Nancy treats her clients like family, ensuring a positive and personalized experience for each individual.
Her dedication to community involvement is evident in her roles on various boards, including the Augusta Metro Chamber of Commerce and Augusta University Alumni Society-Summerville (serving as President). Nancy actively supports organizations such as Augusta’s Women in Philanthropy, the American Heart Association, and Young Professionals of Augusta, participating in their Mentorship program.
While Nancy values her extensive background as crucial to delivering exceptional service, she underscores the significance of ongoing education in real estate and staying abreast of industry trends and technologies to meet the evolving demands of clients. Her notable accolades include recognition as one of the Top 6 Women On The Move in Georgia by Georgia Trend Magazine in April 2021, Woman of the Year by Georgia Young Republicans in June 2015, and Realtor of the Year by the Classic South Board of Realtors in January 2006.
In her personal life, Nancy resides in Augusta’s historic Summerville area with her husband, Chris, and their beloved furbaby, Logan, along with their three children – Olivia, Alexis, and Hayden.
