Sherry Batrus, Recognized by as a 2023 Top Agent

A former “Hamptons” devotee, Sherry helps realize clients’ dreams of owning or investing in what she considers to be ‘the closest thing yet to Paradise.’

Sherry Batrus is a luxury real estate agent with over eight years of experience. She is a Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist and a Certified Negotiation Expert focused on delivering concierge service to her customers. Sherry works closely with her customers, getting to know them, understanding what’s important to them and customizing her services to cater to their specific needs.

In the fast moving and competitive Naple’s market, Sherry has earned a reputation for excellence with her customers. Be it negotiating multiple cash offers to win a property for a buyer or selling a luxury waterfront listing in a matter of weeks Sherry has consistently exceeded expectations. This March she sold the 2nd highest priced property in Naples/Collier County, at $10.0 million, earning her the rank of 17 out 750 agents at her brokerage for the month of March.

Sherry and her husband are transplants from New York. They lived and worked in New York City for over 30 years spending weekends and summers on the East End of Long Island, better known as the Hamptons.

Sherry’s career in New York City spanned almost 30 years in the retail/wholesale Cosmetic Industry with time spent at Bloomingdales, Macy’s and Saks Fifth Avenue. She held various positions including Department Mgr., Buyer and Group Divisional Mgr. working with brands such as Chanel, Lancôme, Estee Lauder etc. Here, Sherry was introduced to the world of New York City fundraising, a fiercely competitive and fast-paced environment. She was instrumental in raising millions for organizations such as The March of Dimes chairing committees for the “Million Dollar Beauty Ball ” held each year at The Waldorf Astoria. She was also involved with the Fragrance Foundation helping to establish the FIFI Awards, for the “Fragrance of the Year”. Later in the aftermath of 9/11, with a very high rate of suicide at the NYPD, Sherry began to volunteer her time there.

Sherry also spent time in the wholesale beauty industry with a private label as Exec. VP of Sales/Merchandising. This role involved travel to China where she was instrumental in negotiating a deal with the governor of Liaoning Province to open a business there. Negotiations included high level talks, a launch party and press release. Travel to Osaka and Tokyo followed to discuss manufacturing possibilities in Japan.

After retiring from the beauty industry, Sherry started her own business in New York City securing a small business loan to manufacture and sell premiums/gifts to some of the premier law firms in town, i.e., Cravath, Swaine & Moore, Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, and Davis Polk. Within her first 18 months in business Sherry secured $250K in orders.

However, after 9/11, Sherry turned her attention to a new and evolving area of corporate governance, now referred to as “risk assessment”. The New York City corporate world had been left badly shaken by the attack on the World Trade Center and quickly realized how unprepared they had been for any kind of disaster. Around this time companies began to focus their attention and their budgets on a new area called “business continuity” realizing the financial imperative as well as the ability to offer their employees a safer work environment.

During this time period Sherry’s clients included such companies Lehman Brothers, AIG, Pfizer, The American Red Cross, and NBC Universal.

In 2012 Sherry and her husband began visiting Naples, moving permanently in 2015.

Sherry enjoys spending time with friends and family. She and her husband enjoy travel and just returned from a wonderful European trip. Sherry is an avid animal lover and actively contributes to the ASPCA and The Humane Society of Naples.
