Violet, her husband Gerry founded the “Waynesboro New Hope Shelter” in 1998, but it took them 5 years prior to that to do all the paperwork and go through the red-tape, it was not easy! But with al lot of the good hearted people of Waynesboro, and churches, and her 2 children who did a concert and raised their first seed money of $10,000 to pay for supplies, etc.
Currently residing in Boulder City, Nevada, Violet enjoys the community’s benefits, including its favorable tax structure and safe, serene atmosphere. When she is not closing deals, she indulges in her passion for flower gardening, designing and staging properties, watching movies with her family, listening to her children Christina Iris and Mike Schmid’s music, cooking, baking, singing, dancing, going to the gym, and reading gardening books, all while finding joy in helping others.
